Welcome!  I'm also in my 30's with a 7 year old girl at home (almost 8 ) as well as a 4 year old boy.  I'm sure it is hard being back w/ a parent, but be thankful there is somewhere for you to go.  Feel free to vent all you want and ask anyone anything.  Many have been though similar situations.  There are great people here!

Steve and I are the resident romantics. We met here on the forum and are now engaged- the wedding is set for October. We live in New Zealand with my 5 year old son, his 14 year old son, and his 12 year old daughter.

Hi Robin, I see you made it to the forum, Yay! Just keep posting, it's slow right now due to summer (for most of us, it's winter in New Zealand though!)

We are here whenever you need someone to talk to or if you just want to get stuff out of your head for awhile.

Many of us are familiar with the uninvolved / underinvolved other parent syndrome. Not much you can do about it but make your daughter know that she is loved and that the two of you together are a whole family even if you don't feel that way right now.
