My response has been to not say a word. Just stop doing all those things that apparently don't count. Want food? Make it yourself. Want clothes? You have money. Want your clothes not to be thrown in the trash? Don't leave them in my way.

I feel that a second chance is just that- a SECOND chance. We're now up to double digits on the chances, and I'm done with it.

Oh dear.   That "what are you going to do?" type of thing is what I get from my daughter too often.   "You don't do anything.  Why do I have to do everything?"   But read that in a whine that draws out several of the words.   Iiiiiiiiii     evvvvvvverrrrrryythiiiiiiiinnnnnngg

Grrrr

LOL  yeah there was a litter box in there.   Stone loves going over there because usually the Crypt Keeper can keep her mouth shut and endure waiting on him and his big fat daddy hand and foot for 2 days.  Hah let's see how she likes coming home to Stone camped out in the recliner with his glasses of pepsi, plates of food and bag of chips all on the floor beside it along with sports illustrated magazines and whatever else he brought out all day.   (Dayum  I wist I could see it! Her head will blow right apart!!!)
That's the little scene I came home to yesterday, that and the fact that the litter box hadn't been cleaned out, the dog was still outside with his chain tangled with some wood I had told Stone to untangle for 3 days and the couch even had evidence of my packrat son camping on it too.  When told to get off MY computer and get this stuff done his answer was  "I'm not a mind reader I don't know what you want done"
OMG!!!  I managed to keep it together and explain he wasn't brainless either and I'd told him for 3 days  and yes even 3 weeks that his jobs were to 1. Feed his animals 2. Make sure the animals had everything they needed.  3. Clean up his FREAKIN' Mess...  Everyday!   His response...I didn't know...UUUURRGGGH     Later in the evening  I asked him to take his 3 ballcaps and backpack to his room and told him he needed to do his laundry.. His response "Well what are you going to do!"   f*ck it!!!  that did it... He spent the night in his room without MY computer or MY cellphone.   He now has 2 strikes...the 3rd will get the TV taken out of his room too!  BRAT!

I do hope there's a litter box in your room . . . .

Though honestly if you told me I'd be spending 6 weeks with the Troll and the Cryptkeeper, I wouldn't be talking very nice to you either!

Roll Eyes  Ugh I absolutely hate Teen Hormones!!! How can my kid be so sweet one minute and the next lip off with something so f*ckin' stupid I want to pop him in the mouth??

This has been going on for a few days..part of me wants to send him to his room for a few years, the other part is wondering if he's acting out because he's going to have to stay with his dad for 5 or 6 weeks.  I told him about it Monday he seemed fine with it...as he usually does he doesn't say anything for a few days and then starts asking questions...

Ugh!  He knows that I have to go if he wants to play school sports in the summer and fall.  I don't know how much track is for 8th grade spring but I think I heard it was about 100 ...okay I can swing that.

High School summer baseball season is $700ish...maybe $725...they aren't sure yet

High School Football is $300ish...
which is followed by High School Track have no clue what it costs
which is followed by High School Spring baseball which is another $700ish...

So I have to go work out of town

He KNOWS THAT!
