This year i didn't have any child care to claim... and made a difference in my return.  My kids are still in daycare but I don't claim it.  Doesn't look like I missed out on much, huh?

WTF is with the insurance???

ARGHHHH, what a moocher! So the piddly amount I get back this year is pretty much paying people like him!

While he is probably receiving state susidized health care for is kids( if he is that smart) I have to wait for my tax return to pay off Nick's allergy shots at the total cost of over $150 a month, and I am several months past.

I admit I make a good salary for now, but it seems I may be seeing more money in my pocket when I actually make less money! It makes no sense. If I figure it out properly I may actually take home more money when I make less money! Something is not right!

The child care change really through me for a loop, with only 1 child(and I know many have 2 +) I pay $3200 a year and they only enable me to claim $600, uhhh WHAT??? Plus making 5,000 less in 09 than 08, makes my head spin!

At least I may be able to claim some of the unemployment I have paying into for over 23+ years, but maybe not, it may all be gone by the time I need it!

Can't wait to see what my old retired parents have to PAYOUT this year, since they are living on old investments and social security(which is another pain point, they already paid money on the money they invested, but have to pay again when they tap into it) And dont get me started on estate taxes.

Whew, ok I feel a little better yelling about it on here!

Here's some math that will make you sick.  Yesterday's client was pizzed because he didn't get back what he felt he should get back...notice I said get back...as in maybe he paid some forward and wanted some BACK...
He worked at Pizza Hut on Weekends only, made 11,000 dollars..has a baby, a toddler, and a girlfriend in the home.  He gets SSI for himself of 460 a month or  little over 5000 a year (nontaxable of course) He also got foodstamps in the amount of 470 a month , so another 5000 a year (non taxable).  I do his taxes and the little sh*t is getting more than 6,000 BACK after paying in a grand total of $270 dollars.
So dude is disabled enough to collect SSI,but not disabled enough to figure out that he only need to work weekends,  he's got a girlfriend who's popped out 2 babies in 2 years and he has the nerve to POP OFF about how F'd up it is that he isn't getting more BACK!  Holy Crap!  I'm afraid I freaked a little and took his stupid ass to school and explained that he has contributed less than 1% TO the fund that is giving him money that he considers he should get BACK.  I also explained that most people put a whole lot in and get very little BACK!! The reason they get very little if any back is that they are giving it all to people like HIM and it's meant to be a temporary help until people can make more not a permanent paycheck!!!   He actually told me no one had ever explained taxes or earned income to him before and he actually understood the EIC scale when we got done.  LOL

I am not happy!! Made 5,000 less this year than last and with the childcare tax changes I am getting 1,000 less back than last year! A huge difference in the childcare deduction....HUGE!!!

Also, insurance......because I am a single parent, I pay $10 more a month than a FAMILY?Huh Nice way to penalize for not being married, ticks me off!!!!!!!!

Rant done!
